Farewell: Google Drops Google+ Links & Reviews

Google has now dropped the links to the Google+ pages from the Google search results even when you search for a specific business. They also dropped the reviews as well from Google+.

Linda posted a summary of the changes in the Local Search Forums but Joy Hawkins captured it a bit earlier, as Linda said, on Twitter.

Here is a picture showing the Google+ link no longer showing up:

Also as Tim Capper posted on Google+, not only is the Google+ link gone but so are all the review snippets.

Linda said, "Well now G+ page links are gone from brand SERPs too. So are reviews. Say what? Yep you heard it right! Both are gone from the SERPS."

Google keeps tearing away Google+ from the Google ecosystem, which comes as no surprise. We saw hints of this specific thing about to happen a couple of months ago.
